Our LTN displays are extremely energy saving, by using the ambient light very effectively.
Displays without backlight
For operation at daytime often no additional illumination is needed.
For operation at night we can supply a long life LED backlight.
Depending on the place of installation even at night the ambient brightness may be sufficient for the display to operate without additional backlight.
Integrated display with the LCDs optically coupled to the front glass in sunlight without backlight; character heights 40mm and 100mm
Power consumption for the 4 LCD lines with driver boards only 50mW
corresponding to about 1 SMD-LED.
By combining our solar power supply with our wireless data communication optimized for low power operation the displays can be controlled also over long distances without cable installation.
With their extremely low energy requirement our displays can be operated with solar cells, wind generators or battery.
